Jim Connor: "the Jedi Master who instructed me." He was in the New Kingston Trio from 1969 to 1973, played the banjo for John Denver, and wrote the hit song Grandma's Feather Bed. Jim plays in the traditional Sand Mountain old time banjo style, and was declared by the late Earl Scruggs to be "the finest old time 5-string banjo picker in the world."
